We want a downtown for everyone—and where all are welcome.
A diversity of people and perspectives is what makes downtown vibrant and appealing. The Downtown Austin Alliance serves the entire community, and we are committed to keeping downtown inclusive and welcoming to all who live, work and visit here.
Cultivating inclusivity is one of our organization’s core values. We seek out and incorporate input from all Austinites as we advocate for policies and develop long-term plans. And we collaborate with a diverse array of partners to develop community impact initiatives that honor our history while inviting new voices to shape its future.

Community Investments
We support community initiatives that advance social impact. This includes investing in programs to address unsheltered homelessness and partnering with organizations dedicated to preserving and celebrating diverse cultures downtown.

We acknowledge the area that we call Central Texas belonged to the Indigenous Peoples of the Tonkawa, Comanche and Apache communities. This acknowledgment is an expression of deep appreciation for those who were here before us.
