Enjoy Gilbert Shelton's Underground Comix and Art in this Exhibit taking over the 506 Congress space from June 7 - July 19. Gilbert Shelton is an American cartoonist known for being a key figure in the underground comix movement of the 1960’s and 1970’s. His satirical, humorous and countercultural comics, most notably The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, captured the spirit of the era and have had a lasting influence on subsequent generations of cartoonists and animators.

Music Under the Star (MUtS) returns to the Bullock Museum this summer with four FREE nights of electrifying performances in the Capitol Mall Amphitheater every Friday in June.
