On December 4, The Downtown Austin Alliance; KUT 90.5, Austin’s NPR station; and KUTX 98.9, The Austin Music Experience, invite the community to start the holidays downtown with the annual Holiday Sing-Along and downtown tree lighting. Immediately following the tree lighting, Austin quintet Los Coast will close out the night with a special performance. The event is free and open to the public.

Thousands gathered for the 25th anniversary of the Downtown Holiday Stroll. Highlights included the countdown to the downtown tree lighting, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a local artisan holiday market and live music by a uniquely Austin lineup with performances by Max Frost, Mobley, Alesia Lani and Love & Chaos. Kids of all ages lined up for the giant snow dome, mini petting zoo and ornament making.
