Leta Harrison

Project Manager

Hi there!

I’m Leta Harrison, a photographer, mom, nature enthusiast, and the Project Manager for the Active Urbanism Program for Downtown Austin Alliance. You can call me by the pronouns she/her. Originally raised in Washington DC, I made the exciting move to Austin in 2019 and have been proud to call it home ever since.

As a photographer, I find immense joy in capturing the beauty of the world around us. People, storytelling, and art are my biggest inspirations, and I love immersing myself in their presence to create meaningful and captivating photographs.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can often find me downtown, indulging in my top three favorite activities. First and foremost, I absolutely adore exploring the vibrant art scene here. From galleries to street murals, the art in Austin never fails to ignite my creativity and leave me in awe.

Additionally, I’m a self-proclaimed foodie, and downtown Austin offers an incredible culinary experience. Trying new flavors, savoring delicious dishes, and discovering hidden gems in the city’s diverse food scene is a true passion of mine.

Finally, street photography is something I hold dear to my heart. Centering myself in downtown Austin, capturing the essence of the city’s energy, architecture, and people brings me a sense of excitement and fulfillment like no other.

I’m thrilled to connect with fellow art lovers, food enthusiasts, individuals who appreciate the beauty of nature and who love the vitality of what downtown Austin has to offer!
