Event Information

Join the Downtown Austin Alliance and KUT and KUTX on Saturday, December 6th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM as we celebrate over 30 years of bringing holiday cheer downtown with our Holiday Sing-Along & Stroll! A tradition since 1994, Holiday Stroll signifies the official beginning of the holiday season in Downtown Austin. Celebrations include the lighting of the Capitol tree, a family-friendly festival along Congress Ave. and the KUT/KUTX Sing-Along at the Capitol. The night will feature live music, interactive art activations, local food, artisan vendors (like yourself!) and a visit from Santa. This annual event is free and open to the public, offering free and fun activities for families of all ages.

Application Deadline

The final deadline to apply to be a vendor at Holiday Sing-Along & Stroll is Sunday, September 21st at midnight.

Food vendors will be required to pay all permitting fees required by the City of Austin.
Vendors shall be qualified, licensed and insured as may be required.
All vendors must have a Sales Tax Permit and any applicable city and state mobile food permit.
Vendors shall comply with any event regulations.
No smoking will be permitted in the event footprint.
No abusive language or actions shall be permitted. Vendors will reasonably conduct themselves.
The Downtown Austin Alliance reserves the right to remove any vendor and/or staff who is objectionable or who creates a disturbance.
Neither the Downtown Austin Alliance nor anyone associated with the Holiday Stroll are responsible for any accidents resulting from tents or other materials used in vendor booths.
All costs associated with replacing, repairing or cleaning any property damaged by the vendor during the event will be billed to the vendor.

Hazardous materials may not be brought onto or stored on the premises without obtaining written permission from the Downtown Austin Alliance. Permission will not be given unless such material is properly stored in appropriate containers (i.e. flammable liquid cabinet). Hazardous materials are defined as but are not limited to, flammable liquids, combustible metals, cryogenic, oxidizing agents, pressurized gases, flammable solids, liquefied gases, radioactive materials, and explosives.
Booth fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Booth payment is due within 3 days of notification. Payments not received in that timeframe are subject to booth cancellation.

Note on Vendor Fees
We encourage all interested vendors to apply, even if the current booth fee is a barrier. We are actively working to secure sponsorships that may allow us to reduce vendor costs this year. If fees are adjusted, those who have already applied will be notified and given the updated information. If you are interested in a discounted rate please contact anavarro@downtownaustin.com.

Each vendor will receive ONE 10×10 booth space.

Vendors must provide their own:

Signage

Downtown Austin Alliance reserves the right to booth selection.

Optional: Electricity available for an additional fee (limited spots) No personal generators are allowed onsite.

🚚 Load-In / Load-Out

Load-In: 2:00–4:00 PM

Set-Up Complete By: 4:30 PM

No vehicles on Congress Ave after 4:00 PM

Event is rain or shine – plan accordingly

Booths must remain open and staffed the entire event

Vendors are responsible for their own setup

Electricity is limited and not guaranteed without prior approval

Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis

I further understand that no refunds will be issued as a result of this agreement, and that I/we will be responsible for any damages that may occur.
