The Convention Center is getting a major upgrade – bringing more space, more events and more energy to Downtown Austin for years to come.
To support a vibrant downtown during this redevelopment, the Downtown Austin Alliance, in partnership with the Austin Convention Center, is piloting the Downtown Patron Parking Program – a 10-week program offering discounted parking for customers of businesses impacted by the Convention Center’s construction while supplies last.
How it Works
📍Choose a business listed below and park in the corresponding convention center garage.
🛍️At the time of your purchase, request a FREE parking voucher. Receipts will not be accepted as validation. You must receive a voucher from the business to receive the discount.
💸 Each voucher covers up to 2 hours of parking
🚗 Staying longer? The voucher will discount $5 off your total, with any remaining balance paid by you
🕘 Vouchers are valid all day Sunday – Thursday and until 4 PM on Friday and Saturday. Vouchers will not be valid during SXSW (March 9 – 18)
⏳ Vouchers available until April 30, 2026 or while supplies last
Where to Park
Vouchers are valid at one of the Convention Center’s Parking Garages. See below for businesses corresponding to each garage.
Garages are open to the public, and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking access is not guaranteed, and garages may be closed for major events.
