NEON RODEO: Building a creative career on your own terms

How do you build a creative career that feels true to you—without chasing trends or followers? On March 12th, join artist Tobar in a conversation about his journey of creating The Neon Rodeo, building a brand, and telling a story through his work. Moderated by Whitney Hamilton, this panel will explore the process of turning everyday tools—Adobe, AI, voice notes, and documentation—into a framework for building an authentic body of work. Tobar will share how he developed his artistic voice, crafted a brand that reflects his vision, and found ways to connect with audiences without relying on social media validation. This isn’t about algorithms—it’s about creating work that speaks for itself and resonates beyond the screen. After the discussion, stick around for an open house featuring Tobar’s latest prints, stickers, and original works from his upcoming artist residency.
