The week we have all been waiting for is almost here! It’s Free Week in the Red River Cultural District. Enjoy free performances by your favorite local musicians in venues throughout Red River from January 6th-8th, 2022 at these participating venues.
We recommend masking up to attend Free Week and encourage you to check each venue’s COVID guidelines and requirements for entry. Multiple venues require a negative test or proof of vaccination.
Free Week started in 2003 at Emo’s as a way to keep the club up and running during the slow part of winter. This annual one-venue event grew into a movement, with tens of thousands attending from all over. Live performances take place across the district’s 15 music venues, comedy clubs, parks and event spaces to showcase local and regional talent.
