While many celebrate pride during June, Austin has officially hosted Pride with events later in the summer since 2011. The Austin Gay & Lesbian Pride Foundation, the organizers of Austin PRIDE, have announced the date and theme for the 29th annual Austin PRIDE Festival and Parade. The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 10, 2019 and this year’s theme is Boogie Wonderland.
