XOXO Downtown Austin Storefront Campaign
Dear Property Owners, Managers and Leasing Agents,
Do you have a vacant storefront for lease or want to beautify your existing street-facing space? Apply to join the XOXO Downtown Austin Storefront Campaign to have a vibrant decal installed on a front window or side of your building.
We’ll work with you to design an XOXO Downtown Austin decal that speaks to the prospective tenants you’re searching for or business you’d like to attract. Decals transform vacant storefronts, highlight potential business use and beautify downtown.
XOXO Downtown Austin decals can:
- be placed next to existing ‘for lease’ signage
- cover a portion of your window to let prospective tenants see the interior
- allow prospective tenants to imagine themselves in the space
- catch pedestrians’ eyes to entice them to pop in to storefronts
- beautify Downtown Austin and enhance neighborhood ambiance
To be eligible, the storefront must be:
- suitable for displaying decals (i.e. with glass display windows, doors with windows or an empty wall).
- in the Downtown Public Improvement District
- a ground level, street facing location
How it works:
- Applicants submit to the XOXO Downtown Austin Storefront Campaign
- Downtown Austin Alliance will work with applicants on decal design
- Downtown Austin Alliance will connect applicants with supplier. Downtown Austin Alliance will cover funding for decal production and installation on a first-come, first-served basis.
