Canine Costume Contest

There will be 3 different costume categories: Dog Costume, Dog/Parent Duo Costume, and Funniest Costume! Medals will be awarded to 1st-3rd place in each category for the following.
All participating dogs will walk away with a bag of treats! Instead of a registration fee per entry, we are asking all participants to bring a donated item for Luv-A-Bull.

Rules:
Parents/Handlers will be given a participant number which much be worn so that it is visible to the judges.
Dogs must be leashed at all times.
Each dog must have his/her own Parent/Handler.
Parent/Handlers and dogs must gather at the VIP Section at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the Contest
The judges’ decisions are final.
Dogs must be under your control at all times.
Owners/Handlers are responsible for the actions of their dogs. Dogs must have current shots & rabies vaccinations (presentation of proof or current tag required at the event).
Dogs must be clean & in good health.
No dogs in heat.
Event officials reserve the right to refuse entry or excuse aggressive dogs from the event area.
Dogs must be sociable with other dogs, adults, and children. Dogs must be well-adjusted to crowds & noisy environments. You are required to pick up after your pet.
There will be clean up bags and trash bins provided around the event.
By registering for the contest, permission and consent is given to the use of any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event to the Downtown Austin Alliance who may publish and/or use for promotions.
