El Paso in Austin Trailblazers Reception

Since 2012, the El Paso in Austin Trailblazers Reception annually recognizes successful El Pasoans in Austin, who exemplify leadership, creativity, and passion for their work and their community. Trailblazers have the famous Star on the Mountain in El Paso lit in their honor. The reception also provides an opportunity to raise scholarship funds for El Paso high school seniors planning to attend Austin-area colleges. The Network has awarded dozens of incoming freshman students with scholarships in the past 12 years.
