Mexic-Arte's annual Day of the Dead festival
This beloved tradition brings family and community together to celebrate the lives of our ancestors, family, friends, and public figures. This family-friendly, alcohol-free event will take place from 1-6:00 p.m. at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center. We will welcome the memories of our loved ones with Day of the Dead altars, art installations, & activities that foster an appreciation for the sweetness and fragility of life. The collective outdoor ofrenda (altar) will be a gathering of memories to which the public can contribute.
