We had a fabulous time celebrating the Future of Downtown at ACL Live! Thank you for celebrating over 30 years of the Downtown Austin Alliance with us.
We began the evening by introducing our 2024 State of Downtown report, showcasing our new Downtown Austin Space Activation program and debuting our XOXO Downtown Austin campaign.
After, we heard words of wisdom and inspiration from Trennis Jones, Vice President of Community Impact for Austin FC. He shared his passion for using the power of sport to uplift our community.
Mayor Watson joined us to talk about the importance of partnership to keep downtown vibrant, resilient and thriving.
We ended the evening by celebrating our Future of Downtown Awards winners. Congratulations to our Meredith Powell Award for Community Culture winner, Art from the Streets, and our first Downtown Vision Award winner, St. David’s Episcopal Church. Both of their contributions have been invaluable assets to our downtown community!
