Preservation Austin’s annual homes tour in April 2020 will celebrate historic living spaces downtown. The tour will feature homes in the area between Lady Bird Lake, Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, North Lamar Boulevard, and I-35. Homes must be located in buildings over 50 years old, from converted commercial structures to apartment buildings, to single-family homes and accessory dwelling units. Recent rehab projects which retain buildings’ historic appearance and materials are preferred, and projects featuring sensitive contemporary additions are welcome. The deadline for submitting eligible homes is November 4.
