Radhika Bipin
Urban Design Coordinator
Born and raised in India, Radhika brings her global perspective and passion for resilient communities to her role as Urban Design Coordinator at Downtown Austin Alliance. She began her career as an architect designing affordable housing in the tropics and later worked as a park planner for the City of Cincinnati, enhancing the importance of environmental planning in the Queen City.
After graduating, Radhika served as an assistant city planner in the tourist city of Sandpoint, Idaho, where she reviewed plans, interpreted city code, performed technical duties related to implementing division work plans and programs, and monitored community compliance with planning, zoning, and development ordinances.
In her current role, she supports the Built Environment and Mobility programmatic areas, including committee communication, project advancement, milestone tracking, and dashboard development. She also coordinates community outreach and engagement efforts as they align with programmatic milestones.
With a bachelor’s degree in architecture from India and a master’s in community planning from the University of Cincinnati, Radhika is dedicated to building vibrant communities through thoughtful, inclusive urban design. When she’s not shaping cities, you’ll find her paddle boarding, finding inspiration in the balance of nature and creativity.
