Amalia Carmona, RA
Planning & Urban Design Coordinator
Amalia supports design, planning, and research projects. Her efforts focus on representational storytelling techniques to graphically convey the needs and values of downtown Austin.
Amalia brings her background in design and coordination to the Alliance. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the Downtown Alliance, Amalia was a residential architect in Chicago. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Amalia relocated to Austin after the completion of her master’s degree.
