Waller Creek Conservancy is now Waterloo Greenway! The organization recently revealed its new name, brand identity, and new website at a festive celebration at Symphony Square. Visit their new website to see the great lineup of fall programming!
Once complete, the 1.5-mile park system stretching across downtown’s eastern edge from Lady Bird Lake to 15th Street will feature 35 acres of connected green space, gardens, and pathways, all linked by the restored Waller Creek.
The first phase of the project, Waterloo Park and the Moody Amphitheater, is on track to open in 2020. The planning, design, and construction of this park is happening in a series of geographic milestones as part of a public-private partnership between the City of Austin and Waterloo Greenway.
