Austin CarShare is a local nonprofit business that gives its memebers access to a fleet of late-model, reliable cars and trucks for their transportation needs. Vehicles are available 24-hours a day. Members just need to reserve vehicles by the hour, online or by phone.

If you commute by bus, Rideshare, carpool, walking or by bike, Austin CarShare offers you peace of mind by assuring you have access to vehicles to run errands and get to appointments. The service is also valuable to many downtown residents, some of whom have even been able to sell their personal vehicles after finding Austin CarShare filled all their automobile needs.

Members pay a small monthly fee and a usage fee based on the amount of time they use a vehicle. Gas, insurance, cleaning, and maintenance are included.
