Bicycling and Walking
Bicycling
Austin's climate means that for much of the year bicycling is a very practical means of transportation. Besides getting good exercise, bicyclists can park free at their destination and help ease road congestion.
Bike Routes
The City of Austin's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program has produced a citywide map of suggested bike routes for commuters and recreational users. The map is available for $1 on the 8 th floor of One Texas Center, at 505 Barton Springs Road.
