The Harry Ransom Center presents "The Legacy of Watergate: Why It Still Matters" this Friday. Watergate journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein participate in two panels: "Watergate and Presidential Accountability" and "Watergate and the Media: Did the System Work?" Select items from the Woodward and Bernstein Watergate Papers, including materials from the Mark Felt (?Deep Throat") file, will be on display in the Ransom Center's lobby from March 23 through April 8, 2007. Seating is free, but limited. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.

Exquisite ceramic sculpture. This is what you will see during the Opening Reception for Testimonio, an exhibition showcasing the ceramic and sculptural works of artist Marsha Gomez. This show also honors her life as an artist, activist, art educator, single mother, community organizer for environmental and community rights and friend to many. Although her life was tragically cut short in 1998, Marsha Gomez's work, ideas, and actions continue to influence people today.
