Jul 6 - Art Fix - Lifestyle - 6:00 p.m.
Discover the pleasures of the summer table in Giovanni Battista Passeri's Musical Party in the Garden before learning some quick and cool summer appetizers with Central Market Chef Cindy Haenel. Get your creative fill with the Blanton's Art Fix series on the first and third Thursday of each month. These short programs focus on art and art making, music, and lifestyle.
Jul 6: Public Tour: Art is Seasonal - 7:00 p.m.
Choose the works of art you want to explore and discuss in this interactive of the Blanton's collection.
Jul 7: "B" Scene - 6:00-11:00 p.m.
The Blanton's monthly art party featuring live music, gallery tours, art-making activities, light snacks, and a cash bar featuring Blantinis. The Ugly Beats will revive 1960s mod music and fashion. Music also provided by DJ Little Danny of Waxploitation. Activities will focus on the innovative art of the era. Be fabulous and come dressed in your best 60s garb, as a beatnik, flower child, or one of Warhol's factory people. Cost: $5 for members; $10 for non-members.

After viewing the beautiful works of art in Over + Over: A Passion for Process and the film exhibit "Again + Again," take special note of how repetition comes into play when these artists create. You'll use rubber stamps and repetition to design your own original two-dimensional images. $7 per family; members $5. F8 Fine Art Gallery bids a fond farewell and invites you to join them in celebrating six amazing years of art as owners Richard and Amy Griffin prepare to move back behind the camera lens. f8 is closing at its current location, but will downsize, move and reopen at its new location in the new addition of the Wally Workman Gallery, 1202 West 6th Street. The new f8 Gallery will showcase the Griffins' photography. Meanwhile, throughout July, works by all your favorite f8 artists will be featured. Art Opening: Saturday, July 8, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
