Jul 12 Blues on the Green Salute to Clifford Antone
+ More Free Live Music in the Live Music Capital
7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Zilker Park Rock Island
kgsr.com

Clifford Jamal Antone, known to his lifelong friends as C.J., opened Antone's Blues Club at the original location on 6th and Brazos on July 15, 1975. He dedicated his life to supporting blues musicians and offering them a "home" to showcase their talents.

This edition of Blues on the Green celebrates the 31 years of Clifford Antone's contributions with an outstanding show (planned before his death in May) featuring Eve Monsees & The Exiles and Gary Clark Jr.

The free shows take place alternating Wednesdays through August 23rd at Zilker Park Rock Island (on the north side of Barton Springs Road). Bring sunblock, a blanket & chairs, pets on
leashes - and enjoy food & drink from great food sponsors.

There is a fee for parking of $3 (even motorcycles) and that money goes to the Park, and not to KGSR or "Blues on the Green." Parking is available off Stratford Drive under the Mopac Bridge.
