An exhibition of striking black and white photographs, The Enduring Spirit of Vietnam highlights artist Peter Steinhauer's patient and meditative observations of Vietnam's land and people. Images taken with a large format camera, these silver gelatin and archival pigment prints document with exquisite detail, the humid, dream-like landscapes of Vietnam. This exhibit coincides with the book release of the same name. In honor of its fifth anniversary, the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum will present a new look at the popular opening year exhibit entitled, It Ain't Braggin' If It's True, by presenting It STILL Ain't Braggin' If It's True in the special exhibit gallery. Great fun, this family exhibit explores the qualities of Vision, Friendship, Perseverance, Pride, Showmanship, and Swagger through one-of-a-kind objects and the stories they tell. You'll hear and see 38 compelling new stories with incredible associated objects. Swagger on over this summer.

Port and Playground: The Texas Gulf Coast The Texas Gulf Coast, the new exhibit at the Texas Capitol Visitors Center, shows why this part of the state has beckoned people to its shores for generations. From a favorite entry point for immigrants to its current status as a playground destination, visitors have vacationed at grand hotels and enjoyed swimming, boating and fishing in the warm Gulf waters. The exhibit features artifacts, pamphlets, photographs, artwork and letters belonging to both immigrants and tourists. Admission to
