Featured Event

Nov 5-6 Art From the Streets
Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH), 500 E. 7th at Neches
artfromthestreets.org

For two days, more than 80 Austin homeless artists will share their prized artwork with the public. More than 2,000 pieces will be offered for sale with prices starting at $30. Proceeds go to the homeless artist who created the art.

Preview some of the work at: artfromthestreets.org.

Art From the Streets gives Austin's homeless community the opportunity to explore and express creativity through twice-weekly art classes. This showcase then enables individuals to exhibit their artistic skills, interact with the people of Austin and raise funds to pay for necessities such as food, clothing and housing.

The $3 admission helps defer the cost of art supplies and materials used throughout the year.

Art From the Streets will be open Noon to 5:00 p.m. both days.
