Jun 28 Cisco NOW Van Rolls into Downtown

Cisco's Network on Wheels Van "the NOW Van" rolls into Downtown Austin for one day to showcase the latest and greatest in IP telephone and unified communications, wireless/mobility solutions and network and building security.

In addition to the all-day demos of the latest technology, a press conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the lobby of 515 Congress where T. Stacy & Associates and Cisco Systems will make an exciting announcement relating to Downtown Austin. Mayor Will Wynn, Charlie Betts and Gary Farmer, chair of Opportunity Austin, will all be on hand for the announcement.

The Scarbrough Building, 6th & Congress

A series of eight large banners promoting the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts are featured at the Scarbrough Building. The banners feature posterized images executed in a pop-art style and bold colors on a synthetic mesh fabric. The display is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Merit Texas Properties and the Scarbrough Building, which have a history of making the windows available to promote projects of interest to the Downtown community.
