Featured Event

Through Jan 5 - Comedy Unleashed!
Paramount Theatre, 713 Congress
(512) 472-7247, austintheatrealliance.org

If you haven't lived through the traumas of a holiday turned haywire, then you are in for non-stop, rolling-in-the-aisles guffaws. And even if you have, Tuna Christmas is a must see again.

You'll be taking an uproarious ride into the quirky lives of Tuna, Texas' most prestigious and perverted citizens. Even the animals get in on the hilarity. It's the night before Christmas and all comic hell is about to break loose in Tuna, the third smallest town in Texas.

Award-winning master comedians, Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, portray all 24 denizens of this magical spot on the imaginary map of wackiness where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

Bring the whole family for this standard in holiday fun. Tickets range from $23-43.25 and just a click away at startickets.com.

These closures will be in effect by 11:00 p.m., but could occur earlier if the officers on duty feel the crowd warrants that measure.

Officers could also choose to close San Jacinto and Brazos between E. 5th and E. 7th if crowds are particularly large, but APD does not expect the additional closures to be necessary.
