Capital Metro is looking for feedback from the community on important proposed changes to Central Texas’ transit system. As part of the Connections 2025 five-year transit plan rollout, Capital Metro staff will propose significant June 2018 service changes to its Board of Directors in November 2017.

As part of this rollout, more than half of the current 82 routes would see some level of change. Eight more bus routes would be added to the High-Frequency Network (ensuring those buses run at 15-minute frequencies, seven days a week). One of the goals of the changes is to improve service linking the east and west sides of Austin.

A public hearing will take place on November 1 from 12:00 to 12:30 pm at 2910 E. 5th Street. You can also email your input to feedback@capmetro.orgClick here to explore an interactive map to see how the proposed changes will impact your area.
