CodeNEXT Hosting Community Walks Throughout Austin

The City of Austin is hosting six Community Walks to tee up November's “CodeNEXT: SOUND CHECK,” where the technical writers of the City’s land development code will collaborate to “check their work” regarding the development standards for the City of Austin.

 

Each walk will last one hour, during which residents, business owners, and staff are encouraged to share observations and insights. Members of the Austin City Council and Code Advisory Group may also be on hand.

These community walks are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP (click on dates above to RSVP), wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and bring a smartphone to snap photos and share on social media using #CodeNEXT.

 

CodeNEXT Sound Check is slated from November 16th through the 21st.
