The Space Cowboy Ball is an educational fundraiser, with a twist. Imagine you've been invited to high-end party on a frontier world of tomorrow. 100 years in the future. What will you wear? Be it a simple 20th century (retro) suit, Texas tuxedo, top hat and tails, a waistcoat or SciFi inspired gown, the Space Cowboy Ball is designed to put the cool into space, and the Texas into Tomorrow. After all, this is Austin, where weird meets wonderful and the Wild West meets New Worlds!
Last year’s event featured film director Robert Rodriguez, Richard and Laetitia Garriott, Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister Etienne Schneider, stars from the television show The Expanse and more. Join us as we honor the Space Cowboys (and girls) of the Past, the Present, and the Future, while supporting the educators who will inspire the next generation to reach for the stars.
