"Hostages To Momus" is hosted by the J.C. Elkins O. Henry Literary Discussion Group, a monthly reading (and discussion) group focused on the short stories of William Sydney Porter (O. Henry) and named after docent emeritus J.C. Elkins.

A prominent railroad president is kidnapped and held for ransom, but the criminal scheme goes awry.

This reading may be held next door in the sister museum to the O. Henry Museum, the Susanna Dickinson Museum (411 E. 5th Street) if necessary.
