In a public presentation related to their exhibition Kind of About Michigan, Studio Art MFA candidates Anika Steppe and Marta Lee will outline their summer trip around Michigan and into Wisconsin. Afterward, there will be a Q&A facilitated by Max Rasmussen, who grew up in Ann Arbor and now resides in Detroit. Throughout the event, the trio will be playing the card game Cribbage, a favorite Midwestern pastime. The artists will also take questions from the audience. Light refreshments will be served.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Kind of About Michigan, on view at the Visual Arts Center September 22 – October 20, 2017.
