In conjunction with Austin Museum Day, the Artisan Mercado will be open at the Frost Tower Plaza, 401 Congress, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17. In addition to shopping for unique Latino-themed gifts, museum goers can take advantage of the following:

Silent Auction to Benefit Harvey Disaster Victims 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Children's Huichol Indian Crafts Workshop 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

In October, the Mercado will go back to its regular schedule of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month.
