Prince Hal was history's most famous juvenile delinquent, and to tease out that culture, Hidden Room’s Henry IV will be a mashup of Renaissance and Glam with scorching live music by Todd Kassens (Shoulders) and outrageous costumes by Aaron Flynn. Henry IV still enjoys the same academic rigor, attention to detail, and muscular language handing that audiences have come to expect and love from the Hidden Room.

We’ll have a press party every night of opening weekend, Sept 8 and 9th at 8pm, and Sept 10th at 5pm. All these performances will include post-show celebrations with the cast and creative team, with delicious drinks and hors d’oeuvres. And of course you're very welcome any night you and the KMFA team would like to attend.

Royalty. Rebellion. Rock.

The Hidden Room presents Shakespeare's tragical-comical-historical-pastoral masterpiece about a delinquent Prince and his journey from Eastcheap to glory, Henry IV. Using a brilliant cut by the American Shakespeare Center's Dr. Ralph Alan Cohen and a rowdy glam rock aesthetic, Henry IV will have you on your feet with live music from Shoulders' Todd Kassens and a cast of remarkable players.
