Please let me know if you need anything else! Thanks, Beth The Driskill Hotel: Stories of Austin's Legendary Hotel/A Cookbook for Special Occasions is a coffee table history/cookbook, with history provided by notable Austinite Turk Pipkin and recipes by nationally acclaimed Executive Chef David J. Bull of The Driskill Hotel. The book chronicles the hotel's history from1886 to today, presenting the hotel as the central locus of politics and society in Austin. The book also provides recipes for special occasions, pairing each set of recipes with a specific room in the hotel that has traditionally been used to celebrate that occasion. The recipes are geared toward the occasional chef; anyone should be able to prepare these dishes with a basic kitchen set-up. Like the hotel, the recipes are timeless and are sophisticated yet simple to prepare. They embody the spirit of Austin and Texas tradition, as do each of the celebrated rooms at The Driskill Hotel. <> <> ekrauss@driskillhotel.com (512)391-7687, direct (512)391-7222, fax (512)391-7162, Driskill Grill Reservations Driskill Hotel 604 Brazos Austin, TX 78701
