Why Join the Alliance?

The Alliance devotes its vision and its voice to an impressive array of programs, projects, and issues that promote, protect, and advocate for Downtown Austin. These services and programs ensure that the Downtown neighborhood is safe, clean, accessible, and fun for residents, employees, and visitors.

The Alliance is structured into five primary categories with supporting committees working to get things done. They are: Arts & Entertainment/Marketing, Economic Development, Parks, Streetscapes & Transportation, and Security & Maintenance.

How can you become involved in the Downtown Austin Alliance?
You are invited to join the Downtown Austin Alliance. There are many benefits associated with membership.

  • Receive the latest news on issues and current events through Downtown Austin Alliance's email newsletter.
  • Receive the quarterly "Downtown Focus" newsletter featuring news of Downtown and updates of Alliance activities.
  • Attend "Issues & Eggs," the Alliance's monthly forums featuring key City officials and Community leaders who influence the Downtown District.
  • Attend quarterly luncheons featuring nationally recognized speakers on a variety of popular and critical issues that are informative, insightful, and relevant to Downtown Revitalization.
  • As a member of the Alliance you will be listed on our web site, with links to your homepage.
  • Make a difference in Downtown Austin by serving on Alliance Committees and Task Forces.

Membership Levels

Memberships are available in the following categories:

VOLUNTARY ENTITLEMENT MEMBERSHIP: $250

Reserved for all parties who own property within the Public Improvement District but are not assessed (Properties valued under $500,000).

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Open to non-property owners

  • Individual Membership: $125 (Not available to employees or representatives of businesses operating within the Public Improvement District)
  • Non-profit Organization: $125
  • Business with fewer than 10 employees: $150
  • Business with 10 to 50 employees: $250
  • Business with more than 50 employees: $500
